The Chris Woakes Cricket Academy will offer an action packed week of cricket and will create an exciting and enjoyable environment to learn all aspects of the game.

A rising star in the game, you may have seen Chris recently play for the England Lions or Warwickshire County Cricket Club. He was also recently selected in the T20 provisional England squad! A local Birmingham born lad, he is well known for his tight swing bowling, powerful hitting at the crease and athletic fielding. At just 20, Chris has maintained his passion for grassroots cricket and has taken an active role in putting this great new programme together.
A typical day will include numerous coaching drills, conditioned games and innoviative activities for experienced players and beginners alike. And with T20 tournaments every afternoon the Chris Woakes Cricket Academy is an excellent way for young players to spend a whole week improving their cricket skills!

Experienced ECB qualified coaches will work with boys and girls aged between 5 and 13 to develop and perfect their cricket skills in a fun yet safe environment. Each young cricketer will be coached at their own pace, whilst being encouraged to reach their full potential.
So, if you want to master the switch hit, catch a blinder in the deep or learn how to bowl a toe crunching yorker at the death then the Chris Woakes Cricket Academy is for you!
